BRAT Club Fundraiser- 22nd August, 2008

On Friday 22nd August, at the wonderful Bondi Iceberg’s Club, The Bondi Running and Triathlon Club, (The BRAT’S) held a fundraiser on Jenny’s behalf. This wonderful event consisted of drinks and hors d’ourves overlooking beautiful Bondi Beach, as guests generously purchased raffle tickets and bid on Auction Items, to help raise proceeds for The Jenny McKenna Foundation. Brat members, friends and colleagues of Jenny and her family, mingled together in high spirits as everyone’s focus was on helping Jenny and her family as they continue the journey towards her rehabilitation.

Special thanks must go to Jon Pratlett and Nicolette Kenny from the BRAT Club for their magnificent efforts in organising and running the evening, and to the Bondi Iceberg’s for use of their wonderful facilities.
We would also like to thank everyone who donated items for the auction and raffle. In particular we would like to mention the generous donation of Loretta Harrop, Athens Olympic silver medallist, who offered to write and co-ordinate a personalised 6 month training program, as an auction item. This was a very popular item and subsequently raised a significant sum of money toward the Foundation. Thanks also to the Runaway Bay Sports Centre on the Gold Coast for their donation of 2 nights’ accommodation and Cell Bikes for their donation of a mountain bike.
We would also like to thank the following people for their generous support. We feel privileged to be associated with such kind and generous people.
